Time for a new Riv, David! I know my bike doesn't make any sense with so many other Rivs to choose from for flat or pullback bars (and keep standover clearance), but I started with, "Hey, I'd like to have a more traditional 700c Riv road frame, and that orange sure is pretty." Then I sized up to get the reach I wanted, which also got me the slammed-bars/saddle look I like so much on the Pashley Guv'nor..it gives the sense that the bike is "all frame".
I hadn't planned on going full bonkers with a vintage suspension stem - it looks ridiculous on a road bike! - but this project which has spun completely out of control works for me. Save the stubby stems, buy a big Roadini! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
