As we graduate to more hauling of stuff and less joyriding I have a 28ish ring on there. As it stands my wife and I aren’t comfortable with riding out of our neighborhood so in order to mileage I have to drive the bike to a place to ride. This avoids most hills so far. Plus I did some pretty impressive singletrack climbing in the 36x40 gear yesterday.
