Wow, never woulda expected this! My off the cuff vote would be to have Denise reach out to Dave White from Blind Stokers. That seems in keeping with the original intent and also targets a benefactor that might be more interested/committed.
Riv was also to be a benefactor here; but, they luckily reached their min unit goal for moving forward with their HHH order, so not really a big factor other than whatever profit they’d get from this 1 frame. They had talked about supplying some components, so, the frame profit goes away in that case... But, maybe the appropriate thing would be to first have gofundme send an email to all doners and give them a refund. Then ask Riv if there’s a way to set up a special purchase code on their web site where donors could contribute towards a frame to go to a charity who would use it. Blind Stokers or whoever; let that be worked out as to who later so we don’t get in this situation again? Thanks Alex. Indeed a bummer.
