I use Schwalbe Big Ones in the 700C X 60 size, and they are wonderful
tires; perhaps, along with the Compass Elk Pass extralights, the best I've
ever used for ease of rolling and cushion while being reasonably durable
and resistant to flats -- I use the tubeless with Orange Seal.

The G-One replaces the Big One, and I see that Schwalbe has a 50 mm width
in the 700C size and in the same weight class. (450 grams for a true 60 mm
tire that is 29 and 1/2 inches tall! That beats anything Compass sells by a
noticeable margin! I take light weight for a given size as an indication of
suppleness.)

I love 'em. They are probably not the best if you ride among sharp rocks,
but for our sand and gravel and tree roots, they are fine indeed, and they
roll so very nicely on hardpack and pavement!
