Wonderful. I wish we'd gotten some of your snow -- and you keep the wind; but all we got 400 miles south was wind and rain.
How far did you go? Of that total, how many miles riding and how many miles plugging away on foot? Interesting that the self reliance cultures should be so different in adjacent counties. I've visited both areas, but am not intimately familiar with either. Am I right in judging that the difference is essentially that between urban/suburban and rural cultures, with mountainous terrain exacerbating the issue?
