Yes, I’m a bit vertically challenged at a little under 5’7” and relatively thin with probably longer legs (80PBH) and shorter arms. My brother weighs more and may have half an inch on me but RBW measured him at 78. So your 5’9 80PBH sounds about right though I could see how you would feel cramped on a 52. Similar to Joe, the 54 AHH (w/ 56 top tube) would fit me, but I would likely have to a 8cm Dirt Drop or 7cm Tallux with road bars to feel comfortable. That’s what I had to do on my 51 SH (55.5 TT) and it looks like they have snuck another cm of top tube on the latest 51 SH (now 56.5, ugh) I’ve got Albatross bars and a 11cm Technomic Dlx stem on the AHH, but I’m thinking about switching to the Albastache which I’ve tried and like. I’m not attached to road bars, but I like the flexibility to run them on a “country” or all-road bike.
