Hi John, I never had ghost shifting issues on a 9-speed. On 10-speed, I did, so switched back to 9. Shifted great, as long as the nut was kept tight. I had to tighten about every ride. Reading through others’ accounts, seems like I wasn’t alone. Loctite may have worked as well.
