Thanks for the responses. I think all signs are pointing towards maroon Newbaum's, or Greengrips heavyweight "wine" color if I can find a place that sells it. I'm kind of leaning away from Newbaum's because their glue is so obnoxious, and the paper backing that it necessitates is even more obnoxious.
