I agree with Ash's take. I have billie bars on my Homer, and the position just in front of the brake levers feels like holding the bars just behind the hoods on drops-which is mostly where i kept my hands when i rode drops; however, if i want to sit up more, holding the grips is way more comfortable than the flats on drop bars. Back to the main topic, Joe's new bars look quite comfortable. Rivs do look great with a wide variety of bars.
