It looks like I will be in the Las Vegas, NV
area the week of May 20th. This will be my first trip to the area other than a brief layover at the airport years and years ago. I'm not sure I will get any riding in as I will be with an elderly gentleman, although some might say I am about at the elderly stage myself. I guess that's a matter of perspective but he's 25 years older than me. Ha! I met this gentleman via cycling. I'm sure he would love to ride if he could but I fear for his balance on a 2 wheeler. Perhaps I will rent a bike and try for a short ride while he has dinner with his friend. Our hotel is near the Boulder area so I do plan on seeing the dam. I'm not really interested in casino gambling aspect but I'm sure there are some cool areas to visit within an hour or two of the area. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
