New to the list, and very grateful to have found my way to the BOB/Riv/unracer subculture. Short tours and commutes and rides for errands have been how I've biked since I was a kid, and it was welcome to see this all expressed as a coherent ideology..
I've had my 2008 Jamis Aurora (cromoly steel) touring bike since that year, and am now looking for a new (to me) bike. If anyone is looking to sell a BOBish bike, in New York City or the region, please let me know. I'm not looking for the perfect RB-1 at this point in my life. Missed the bike boom by a few years, and am looking for a venerable steel frame from the 70s-90s. Projects welcome. Saw this listing on local CL.
