I am a teacher as well, and like Rob, I make sure to leave the house everyday for a ride - an even rotation of my stable of Rivs, depending on the ride. With my wife being a teacher as well, and both our kids at home, any excuse I can think of to get out for a little zen on the bike is essential. Went all the way down to San Jose the other day on the Bay Trail and it was a complete Ghost town. The vibe up in Redwood City and San Carlos is far less depressing. Most places are closed but almost all the restaurants are doing to go food so that's at least something.
