When Rich first posted, I was going to surmise that the wheel fell off a
bike that was on a car rack. But then my internet connection went down and
I forgot. Last weekend I drove off with my favorite winter boots on the top
of my car. (I was planning to ride in them, but I don't like operating
clutch, brake, gas with them. ) When I reached my destination and realized
what I had done, I texted a friend who went and found them. They were
neatly together at the curb about a half mile from my house. Picked up and
placed there by a shoemaritan, no doubt.
