I've been asking people to register their bicycles for decades. They may not all be recovered, but many are eventually. This lockdown period is a great opportunity to make a detailed inventory of personal possessions and add them to your Homeowner's or Renter's Insurance policies. Insurance companies love a detailed list with serial numbers and photos and/or a video to go with it.
