I also like the old version better; I found it more inviting to browse. But as others have pointed out, this new version may be more to the taste of younger people used to mobile phone interfaces.
The MAP bar continues to please, with ends perfectly parallel to terra firma, but the grips could be upgraded. Does anyone have a pair of those "flattened" grips, the Ergon GP1 being the model, tho' the trial pair need only be similar in shape, for sale or trade cheap? I'd prefer to try them cheap than spend $30+ and find that they're no better for me than the present grips (which are not bad; locking; it's just that they feel a bit hard, and the hatch pattern is rough on my delicate, ungloved hands. Note: I'd prefer a cheap pair rather than an as-new pair; again to hedge my losses while seeing if they work for me. But I can cough up a bit o' cash, or trade something of similar value, you tell me what you want.
