Thanks for the update. I too have always heard that if a hurricane tracked up through the Tampa/St. Pete area at high tide the downtown areas would be flooded. Sounds like a good thing that didn't happen. We do have friends who are snowbirds and have property on Sanibel island. They're currently here in the Midwest, but we're afraid to contact them about any problems that may have occurred with any property in Florida since they may be working with insurance companies, etc. at this point.
