I made a similar comment to another post, which I felt was indicative of an increase in non-topic related posts of late. I'm copying it here as well as a bit of a preface for my SOTL report which I am working on:
We've really been suffering from widespread "scope creep" in the past few weeks. I know everyone is getting spring fever, and excited about riding. But as a reminder, non-Rivendell topics are really more appropriate for the general cycling groups. Not this one. It speaks highly of the quality of posts and comments of this group, that other members are now seeking further advice on a wider range of topics. But this group is about Rivendell bicycles and products.
