Two things for you to check:  

1.  How much additional brake reach would you need for a 584 conversion,
and what brakes provide that much?  You would, of course, no longer be
able to use those Silver brakes.


2.  How low is your bottom bracket now, and how much clearance will you
have left after the conversion?
