I'm a big fan of the Fizik Arione saddle. The shape works for me, and it's light, and it comes in tons of colors, so there are tons of them for practically free on eBay. Case in point I just bought one for $30 that I think retailed for over $200, in shiny silver.
I confess that the reason my pink Roadeo is pink was that I stumbled across a second-hand Fizik Arione in the black/white/pink color way of the Rapha Cycle Club. I bought it and decided I'd have my forthcoming Roadeo painted to match. Subsequently, while I waited for my frame to come in, I went crazy on weight weenie details, and bought a Fizik Arione 00 in black, and that's what went on the build. The heavier pink Arione went on another bike. Now that I've done two brevets on my Roadeo, I'm willing to admit that the Arione 00 doesn't feel great past hour seven. So, I've decided to weigh down my build by upgrading comfort and fashion.
