Cheers all - to answer the questions: Drivetrain is a Silver 170 38/24 crankset with a Deore LX FD (forget which exactly) and a 11-34 XT 9spd cassette and the 8s XT RD all run off the BS77 bar ends. It's perfect. My Hillborne is similar, but with an M952 XTR rear mech and Suntour front paired with RH 42/26 cranks
Bags are a small Fab's chest up front and large rear, and Buckhorn panniers. Very happy with them all!
