I’m familiar enough with my own drivetrains to know how a 175 mm crank compares to a 170 with the same ring/cog X wheel diameter; the empirical upshot is a bit less than 1 tooth less for the longer crank; ie, the 48/17X25.6" 72” gear with 170 mm cranks on my Matthews errand road bike would be the more-or-less equivalent of a 48/16.5X26.5” gear with 175 mm cranks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
