That sucks. I've always preferred silent hubs. I just built myself a new 135mm OLN rim brake rear wheel with HG freehub for one of my bikes using an Onyx Vesper hub, which is completely silent. I already had a pair of Onyx disc hubs on a gravel bike - I really like the complete absence of noise from the wheel when freewheeling along quiet bush tracks - and decided that I would like the same absence of noise on the bike I normally use on road rides.
