My inner cheapskate, which is deeply ingrained from growing up relatively
poor, has me looking at Rivendell prices and thinking that they are crazy
compared to what you can get elsewhere. But, as an adult I have learned
about come to value sustainability and living wages for everyone. My inner
cheapskate kicks in first because it has been around longer, but I ignore
it when it comes to small businesses who are dedicated to sustainability,
living wages and not mindlessly growing.
