Hey Jonah, Wouldn't it be amazing if you could actually test-ride all these seats before purchasing one?? I have B17s on a couple of bikes and like those, but when my wife got her Platypus, after trying one of my seats she thought maybe she could find something a little better and decided to go with the B68, based on what she read at various sites online. We both really like the shape of the saddle (wider) but were a bit surprised by how stiff it is and also that non-smooth surface that it has, as compared to the B17s I have. Like you, we are hoping it will break in, and are making sure to put plenty of Obenauf's on it to encourage that. I wish you the best of luck with your B68 and would be glad to hear if it does indeed break in.
