When I used interruptor brakes on my Atlantis, I remember that when I put a handlebar bag on it, it would cover up the brake levers, making them unusable. This worked well with my dual-purpose Atlantis set-up. If I was using it as a sporty mountain bike, I didn't mount a bag and used the interruptors. If it was used as a tourer or commuter, I used the bag but never needed the brake levers for that purpose. I didn't have opportunity for aggressive off-road touring, so the conflict wasn't a problem.
