I actually wore out my Pavement cassettes way back when. I never thought of 
Silver Jews as a Malkmus band, but I maybe you're right! David Berman was a 
genius and American Water is an all-timer for me. SM is like a shark; 
always moving. The Hard Quartet album was one of my favorites from last 
year. I'm excited to learn about this new film and hope I can figure out 
how to watch it.

 For SM fans, this site <https://jickspicks.blogspot.com/> has been great 
to find.
