I ovaled (slotted) the hole in the kickstand plate  to allow the kickstand
to move to the left. I did this with a round file. I also used the round
file to clearance the kickstand a little where it touched the tire. I
painted the inside of the kickstand hole to prevent rust. It is invisible
below the washer under the bolt holding the kickstand on. This was on my
Bombadil. Filing the kickstand to allow it to rotate in the plate did not
work for me.
