I’m making moves in my quartet of Rivs and I stumbled across the new light from Schmidt. I am curious if anyone has been crazy enough drop the money on one and if they would report here about it. I don’t NEED it. But would it be nice? YES. Now that I’m an intrepid bike camper and all. For instance, E and I got from our campground to the restaurant scene via a single track path in the woods. There was a mud pit that had me skidding and nearly cussing. I’d have seen it with this new light. We used our Edelux lights together to really light up the night. I had mine set closer and his was farther, and thus we had excellent coverage. But reading about this new light…it’s offering quite a bit more brightness. And I’ll be solo in the future, I’m sure. PLUS IT CHARGES PHONES. And does a good job, from what I hear. Do you know how nice THAT would have been? I had a power strip in a backwards-facing XS Saddlesack on the bars. I left the bag open while charging the phone on the handlebars and…my AirPod case bounced out and was lost on the trail. I used FindMy and tracked it down, but it added an hour and 30 miles of driving to retrieve it. Anyway, this isn’t necessary, but it would be nice and I want to know HOW NICE. Thanks!
