I agree with all of the above (except for Shannon's comment). I'll add: Francis Beach in Half Moon Bay <https://maps.app.goo.gl/3necu2hDJhXBvdTT9> - great hike and bike site. sometimes a bit foggy/windy. Kirby Cove <https://maps.app.goo.gl/DJ3WbbkYFjSNBxdK8> - A very hard place to reserve, but it can be done w some patience! Steep Ravine <https://maps.app.goo.gl/LEhKGHvabGi5eeDM7> - A bay area gem! Hard to book, of course, but I've managed to snag a cabin 3 times. The campsites are top notch as well. Wildcat Campground <https://maps.app.goo.gl/6k7WwVvsZDZsxhS8A> - A small cluster of sites along the coast.
- *It can be a challenge to find a place to camp within easy riding distance of the Bay that hasn't been taken over by homeless people. Places that charge money are likely to be much better in this regard.* - - *--Shannon* Shannon could you elaborate on your experience? When? where? I've never had this experience.
