Joel, A great place to ascertain a price range would be the bikeforums.net 
classic and vintage sub forum. They also have a buy/sell section that 
likely has any history of past sales. I've heard the vintage market is on 
the low right now, but that's ever changing. To me the Gitane bike is every 
bit as valuable as the Raleigh. Here's a catalog I found of the 70-74 
years. I bet the Gitane was pretty much stock.
