I'm right there with you, Eric. Bone waxed would look great on the bike and I allready thought about it.
My main concern is getting it dirty from laying it on the ground or muddy weather, since im planing to have a bag on the bike for winter/bad weather rides. For short trips in the sommer I am absolutly fine with that stem bag and the bandana under my saddle. If the ride gets a bit longer or on rainy conditions, I would love to bring a smal rainjacket and stuff like that with me, without the bag looking like a Dalmatian spinkled with mud, haha. At least tan wouldn't be as effected by it. Otherwise bone would be a good choice. Maybe something fitting for your new Raleigh build - that I quite enjoyed, I might add.
