Greetings!

Back in February, I ordered these shoes from William Lennon & Co.
<https://williamlennon.co.uk/shop/william-lennon-cycle-shoe-276p/>I was
searching for a flat-sole, leather, stiff, fully repairable,
cycling-specific shoe—something built to last a lifetime. When they arrived
in October, I was genuinely blown away by the quality and craftsmanship.

Unfortunately, they’re just a touch roomier than I’d hoped—likely about a
half size too large for me. These shoes are also very much designed around
traditional toe clips and straps (which I own and love), but I’ve come to
realize that any form of foot retention tends to aggravate my knee after
about 30 miles.

I replaced the stock laces with waxed brown Dromarti laces and will include
an extra unused pair as well.

These shoes have only been worn two or three times, have never seen water,
and remain in excellent condition. The small gouges on the sole are from
using MTB platform pedals. They’re a bit slick on flat pedals without pins,
and pins do mark the sole—but paired with traditional toe clips and straps,
they are *fantastic*. They would absolutely complete your L’Eroica drip.

If you’d like to skip the ~8-month waitlist for custom, English-made shoes,
this is your chance.

*Asking:* $160 + shipping

*Optional pedal setup:*
I also have silver MKS Urban platform pedals with large silver MKS cages
and MKS Fit Alpha Sports toe straps. I’ll include the full pedal setup with
the shoes for an additional $50.

Take care,
Andrew Turner
