Brian, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with yours - the Sam 
appears to lend itself to such a wide variety of builds. I was aiming 
toward a fire road biased all-rounder. I'm eager to discover how it 
 performs in that mode. 

Billies are great bars - I love the pair on my Platypus. I'm hoping the VO 
post will give me enough set back with the    Berthoud. It's such a 
comfortable saddle, but I've struggled with it on several bikes due to its 
short rails.
