Thanks for all the info, Ted! Yeah, my Clem (2017) is like the one you added—only the upper fork braze on, but no mid-fork. I should probably start another thread about why / adding braze ons.
I imagine there's a schematic for the Surly front rack somewhere so I can measure it and see. Or maybe I'll find it in a local store and give it a try. Happy riding!
