Marty (I've been behind in reviewing my forums because of events), that machine reminds me of my adolescent financing reality in the northwest suburbs of St. Louis!
I bought a Jacobsen Wheelhorse of that size at a garage sale. Its frame was broken by its big engine and an operator who tried to make an old pile of settling and refreezing snow go away. I tore it down, got the frame welded, put it back together, and built a subscription driveway and sidewalk-clearing business in the neighborhood, with most work done before customers backed out of their garages to go to work if the school closing announcement was made at 04:30. I funded boots, and MSR XGK and a backpack for a Philmont expedition, a new (used) bike, and incidentals of my own discretion. A good wad of it went to college with me, too.
