I used an older version of that same REI tent you linked to for many years 
- I think it's a solid choice.  My wife and I used it for riding across the 
US and a few other long tours and it was fine.  

I used to work at REI and found their tent designs to be pretty good 
overall.  I wouldn't say the same for all the store brand stuff.
