| This thread is fun even if weight is not so important. Someone should start a spreadsheet! Not me though - no computer other than my phone. My Gus: 57 frame with headset cups & binder bolt; 3,594g. Gus fork with maybe 1” of steerer removed; 1,335g. 10.867 lbs. I win!! Richard waiting patiently (NOT!) for marginally decent riding conditions in Toledo, Ohio. PS, I will add my 52 Clem when I remember where I put those notes. In the meantime & for entertainment only; my recently resurrected & reconfigured to single speed 2001 MUSA aluminum Trek 6700 MTB frame weighs a scant 1,880 grams! Surprisingly the 26” Carver steel fork I installed where the Judy suspension fork was weighs in at 1,120 grams. The Gus fork is much bigger & only weighs 215 grams more. All of which has me occasionally wondering how incredibly awesome an aluminum Gus would be?
