Even tho’ I’m trying to sell the R538s, but for $35/pr net to me + shipping cost net to me, so I have a right to deprecate them.
The VOs feel firmer and with same cables and housing have a noticeably greater retarding effect, front and rear, with same hand pressure. And they look so much better! I gottem used, so at ~1/2 price with a wee defect that we worked around. And the VOs are black, to match the rest of the black build. They’re pretty, even in black. The Tektros aren’t bad and would work well for a utility bike.
