Ryan, that is perfect.  If I was in the market for a bike, I would have a hard time rejecting this. It is built up exactly how I would like except for fenders. I already have those.  Excellent build!  Good luck.

Hello all!

For sale is a 60cm Sam Hillborne in the lime-olive color.  This is a fantastic bike, the only reason I’m selling is because I’m getting a custom.  I have it set up as a tourer/trail bike, but it can just as easily be set up as a swift road bike, or anything in between.  I’ve owned several Rivs and this is the most versatile.  Asking $3000 net to me.  Ideally would like a local sale, but willing to ship at buyers expense.   By “local,” I mean local to Denver, CO – willing to drive up to 2 hours or so (e.g., Pueblo to Cheyenne, WY) to deliver to buyer.  Everything you see in the photos comes with it, except the pedals.

Frame/Fork:  60cm Sam Hillborne, lime-olive.  Fairly recent model from a few years ago.

Heaset:  FSA

BB: Shimano, I think it’s a 115mm

Stem: Technomic, 100mm

Bars:  Ron’s Ortho Bars

Brake Levers:  Paul Love, silver

Shifters:  Microshift thumbies

Grips:  Oury, “chocolate” color

Seatpost:  Nitto S83

Saddle:  Black Brooks B17 classic.  I’ve had this for a while,  haven’t rode it in several years – hard as I tried, Brooks saddles just aren’t my thing. Regularly treated it with Obenauf’s, I did punch three holes on each side at the bottom anticipating a need to tighten it up, but never did.   Comes with the grey-ish Randi Jo cover shown in the photos.

Brakes: Paul Touring Canti’s, silver.  Pads are in pretty good condition, but I’ll include an extra set of pads that are shown in the photos.

Wheels:  Velocity Atlas Rims, White Industries MI5 hubs, 36f/40r.  These are excellent, very stout wheels.  WI hubs are fantastic, truly lifetime hubs.  Rich Lesnik built the front one, I had the rear rebuilt with a new rim by Vecchio’s in Boulder, CO last year, so fairly new.

Cassette: Shimano HG, 11-36t

Tires:  Continental Terra Trail, 45mm wide.

Tubes: TPU tubes.

Crank:  Brand new triple, New Albion XDT, 46/36/26t

Front Derailer:  Microshift Triple, silver

Rear Derailer:  Shimano Deore

Front Rack:  Nitto Campee

New Cables and Housing, jagwire

Chain: KMC with plenty of life left

Pedals are not included.

I think that’s it.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks for looking!

Ryan
