Doing a solo mixed terrain yesterday, I came across a couple of MTBers resting along a jeep trail that runs along a ridgeline, several miles from the nearest pavement. One of them remarked that my Atlantis "was no mountain bike." My reply was that it was doing just fine, thanks. As always, the ideal rejoinder came to mind several minutes later - "It's more than a mountain bike; it's a Rivendell." Second place was "Guys, it's just a jeep trail."
