I always liked the looks of the Skid Lid but used a MSR and Bell biker. We still have them both but only use them when we get nostalgic. I like my Bell metro these days because I can fit a nifty taillight on it. At my age, any crash is going to be painful and slow in recovery so I don't take too many chances and try to maintain my bike like it was an airplane. I always enjoy the fact that Rivendell Bicycle Works doesn't get into the whole helmet issue much.
