My understanding is that almost all inexpensive pedals are assembled only for ease of transport. If you just assume you have to re-pack them with grease before installation, they'll be fine for a long time.
I just put VO Touring pedals on my Sam. I've only got 50 miles on them, so I can't comment on the durablity of their sealed bearings. > > Do any of you use similar width pedals that are better?
