Question: if I decide raise my handlebars by the 4 cm (~1.5") to get them
level with the saddle mid-point, and if I also want to maintain the same 20"
from saddle nose to the center of the stem clamp and the same 27" from
saddle nose to tip of hoods, how do I figure what length new stem I need?

ISO: two high quality, silver, forged aluminum, - 17*, 1" quill stems -- no
Technomics or Tech Deluxes or Dirt Drops -- way to long. Pearls, the nice
Specializeds that Riv sold back in the day, classic Cinellis, Nittos (no
lugged ones, please) -- these would be for my "dress-up" Rivendells.

A the third would be for the Motobecane and, for that, I can be more liberal
as to looks.

Not certain I will do this, but am seriously considering it -- now that I've
given up on double-izing the Fargo, I need another project to be anxious
about.

Cash, trade, goodwill.

Thanks.
