Hence my non-stop effort to get my QB to have easily shifted multiple gears 
front and rear.

I've got 3-in-front/one-in-back working pretty well with a front derailleur 
shifting 24-36-48. Upon advice of several from this group, especially Jim E. 
(Thanks again!) I'll probably go with a multi-gear hub one of these days to get 
the bike to work with lots of gears. I suspect that when it has a full set of 
gears, the QB will become my most ridden. As it is now, I love the geometry of 
the bike. I just don't have the gear range I want, since every ride I do has a 
substantial hill climb.

QB could be a great main bike.
