As i'm thinking about Silver Shifters, i was looking at the videos and i realize that i've had my silver shifters mounted reverse for the last 10 years. What i mean is i have them facing out instead of facing in. I'm guessing you want to face them in to protect them from falls etc.
But now i'm wondering, are friction shifters front/rear specific?
