Wondering who has tried some of the Sackville Grid Grey Cotton Poly Blend bags and how you would compare the fabric difference from the classic waxed cottons. In the last 4 years I have collected/acquired NOS Baggins Panniers, a NOS Baggins large trunksack,a like new Baggins Litttle Joe seatbag, and a like new Baggins barsack that I will likely now sell/pass along now my recently purchased Bombadil (touring/ mountain) now being built just does not work visually with the tan/ olive bags. I feel a little vain outfitting the ride partially on appearance, but if I am riding a frame this beautiful think it should at least be a factor.
Looking to avoid the natural hues and want to steer clear of black as well, hence the consideration of Grid Grey bags. Also receptive to opinions regarding appearance compatibility to the grey paint with maroon accents.
