I've done the fixed version of that. A 17/21 Surly Dingle cog with
40/32, 42/39 and 44/40 rings. 15t cog on the flip side.
32x21 is a great steep dirt road gear.

The stock QB (I think the Simpleone only has one ring) chainrings of
40/32 would give you a better gear range with the White freewhee, but
with more axle movementl: 68" + 46" vs. 65" + 50"

I would prefer 42/32, for a 46" low and a 72" high. If you're planning
a very fat (for the bike) tire, you'll need to pick ratios with
minimal axle movement. Same if you need a precise fender line.
