Both VO and Soma have a few bars that are albatross like, but narrower. Actually, so does Riv, the Dove Bar -- classic 3 speed bars. Cheaper than Albatross too!
Soma has that Lauterwasser bar that's sort of half drop half moustache. There seem to be a lot of choices to try! I recently tried the Nitto u-shape bars "B-617 Promenade Handlebar". Mixed feeleings about it. It's narrow - 45cm. I think it needs to be either higher or farther away than is possible on this particular bike so that my knees are well clear. It's comfortable on the grip portion, or to grab it on the horizontal part near the stem clamp. It's still a 'possible' for the simple-one that is hopefully coming soon. I like the albatross.
