Patrick, Vermont is a beautiful state for summer cycling. I used to know a guy who taught school here in Tucson, who returned every summer to lead bike tours with the Vermont Bike Tours group. He called Vermont (in the summer) "God's Green Country". We obviously don't have much of that type of country here in Tucson either!
