When I got my racks and the al fenders for my bike I spent a good week messing with it before I got it to run quiet. Then after a few months there suddenly came a rattle. It was one of the screws coming loose. All the screws got a dose of Loctite after that. No problems for several hundred miles since. Those babies are solid. It was all worth it. Of course I have canti's on my SH so no problems there. VO Constructeur on the back and Nitto Campy up front.
